Donte Alston was born in Washington DC. At the age of 14 years old, he had his first boxing amateur bout. Despite his love for boxing he unfortunately developed a binge-eating disorder from putting himself on a strict diet to compete in boxing which did not help his performance in the ring. After dealing with and learning to overcome the disorder he decided he wanted to help others achieve their fitness & performance goals by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist and attending Bryan University to obtain his Associate and Bachelors degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition. He wanted to make supplements that where made from natural high-quality ingredients to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts achieve their fitness and performance goals. After years of research, he launched Champions Supplements in 2020.
